Angels & Demons  - Dan Brown After not liking The Da Vinci Code I decided to give Dan another chance. Mostly this unusual feeling of hope was brought on by having a copy lying around on holiday and not having to pay for it myself. Also, I can't resist a chance to say "I told you so", even to an author that isn't in the room.

Of course, I proved myself right. The premise is ridiculous, the research was non-existent, the characterisation shallow, even the twists that didn't telegraph themselves 50 pages early left me feeling 'meh'. In fact, a point is deducted because I should have known better...
